we are defined by who we are. that may sound redundant, but
in our case, it's the truth. We don't have a permanent location, some grand old building or storefront to hide behind. With our transient nature, it is our people, not our atmosphere, that WOW our guests everytime. From cooks to service staff, we do this because we love it, because it is creative and different, and because we have fun.
Chris ColemanChef/Founder
Chris, a Charlotte native and CPCC culinary grad, began his career in the front of the house as a busboy at a fish camp. While in school, he transitioned into chef-driven fine dining, and is currently the Executive Chef at the 4 Diamond McNinch House. His vision for tMK is a group of traveling chefs, service staff, mixers, movers, and shakers, who create memorable dining events wherever they pop up. |
tim sassanianService Manager
Tim has lived in Charlotte for the last 12 years and has been in the food/beverage industry for 10. He has worked in almost every business model in the industry- from coffee houses to 4 Diamond full service restaurants, and is currently the GM at The Diamond. Tim directs service at our events, wanting everyone to share in the great time he's having, wherever that may happen to be. |
Josh ColemanAssistant Chef
Josh, in addition to having a sweet red beard, is a madman on the grill, turning out seriously good eats. While he's had no formal training, Josh comes from a long line of Southern cooks. His passion for food is equaled by his eagerness to learn about new ideas and techniques, and explore local ingredients. Josh, like the good little brother he is, has been helping us out since the begining. |
Ashley ColemanCo-Owner/Grunt Worker
Nurse by day, superhero by night, Ashley does it all for the tMK team. From running around for last-minute supplies to hauling table decor to far-flung locations, she is our main support staff. Ever-supportive of her husband, Chef Chris, Ash always jumps in and helps out, and is an integral part of the staff. Now whether or not she's thrilled by that remains to be discovered... |
